A Look Back: Bass Physics Show At Cervantes PLUS Behind The Scenes With Cofresi

Saturday night turned into one big joint-effort between Megan Hamilton, Cofresi and Bass Physics. You don’t always get to see all the artists on a lineup participate in one another’s sets, but Cervantes is a venue where the evening spread is set up family style. The camaraderie between all the performers was certainly apparent, going on and off stage to jam out with one another all throughout the night. Despite it being a busy festival season, everyone came prepared to deliver brand new music and the crowd ate it up, always leaving room for more.

Re:Visit – DJ Logic, Animated Earth and Infinite Vibe. Jordan Polovina Interview Included!

It was Wednesday, my dudes, and hump-day felt cozier than ever at The Other Side of Cervantes. Re:Search’s own resident opener Jordan Polovina took the feature spot and stole the show with his new supergroup, Animated Earth. DJ Logic headlined and orchestrated a fine and refined DJ set accompanied by a healthy serving of horns and live drums. Infinite Vibe doubled down on percussion and wrapped it up tight, another one for the books.

Behind The Scenes With Orchard Lounge

Following Orchard Lounge’s recent headliner show at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, I was able to sit down with the three-piece collaborative group and gain some insight into how they make the magic happen. I, as well as the rest of the crowd at Cervantes, was taken back by how synchronized these artists were during their set; on and off the stage. Throughout their set, they took turns in the spotlight. Pulsating sounds weaved through the ballroom, maintaining balance even during their transitions due to an ability to feed off one another harmoniously.

The Road To Sonic Bloom Continues: The Unified Field W/ Break Science Recap

Kicking off the night with LowPro’s audio/visual show was a solid choice by the Bloom family last Friday, May 10th for Unified Field: The Official Sonic Bloom pre-party. This is one of the first occasions in which LowPro. has graced the Denver scene with his combined audio and visual board that he has personally fused himself, allowing him to customize his own sound and visuals LIVE. This sort of out-of-the-box thinking and production value is something that rings true in every aspect of the Bloom process.

"Through The Aether" Drops. A New But Welcomed Sound From Latest EP As Lucid Vision Prepares For Headline Show!

I guess you could say Lucid Vision, or Dalton Keita, has been on a bit of a roll lately. As if providing direct support for chart-toppers, The Glitch Mob, during their mini Colorado tour late last year wasn’t enough, the Local Colorado artist has found a way to demand our attention pretty much every week of the new year so far.
