The build up for Melody Lines & Collidoscope’s headline show at Cervantes was slow, steady, and a long time coming! When you spend a lot of time around venues and shows, you hear the “scene” talking about specific upcoming shows more than others. Aug 16th, was one of those shows. Supported by local favorite, Telemetry, plus Float Goat and Mr. Bugatti before them, the night’s lineup was absolutely stacked! It’s no wonder the show was reported as around 10 tickets OVER sold-out. Needless to say, Denver turned out and a party was had.Read More
Denver is never short of exciting shows coming down the pipeline, but some tend to stand out more than others. To me, Bass Physics, Cofresi, and Megan Hamilton this Saturday represent such a show. I was excited as soon as I saw the three names on the same flyer a couple of months ago. The insanely talented, drumming machine known as Cofresi has been high on my list since I saw him in New Orleans a couple of years ago. I’ve always wanted to see him in Denver. Megan Hamilton rounded out my top 3 favorite sets at Sonic Bloom this year. And as for Bass Physics, y’all probably already know what’s exciting about Bass Physics, but in case you don’t keep reading cause we caught up with him about what he’s been working on, ways he thinks we can all help save the world, and exactly why his manager told us to expect an, “incredibly immersive, over-the-top experience” this Saturday with Rubikz Visuals and 303 Lasers both on the ticketRead More
It has now been a few days since Arise Music Festival in Loveland, Colorado wrapped up and we are so excited to share some of our favorite artists of the weekend with you. Arise had a diverse lineup of musicians, artists, performers, workshops, food and events to choose from. Paul Bassis, co-founder of Arise, frequently reiterated that the festival was created to be so much more than a platform for music; as he put it, “Arise is a movement of people and everyone who attends is a part of that movement. It is a collaborative effort and the music becomes the core, like a fire we can all gather around.” Over the course of the seven years Arise has been in operation, it has become the largest camping festival in Colorado and the lineup gets stronger every year. Here are some of the artists we talked to while at the festival and a few tracks from each of them.Read More
Kristofer Artz, known better as Halfway To Mars, is back at it again with a brand new track after launching his very first full-length album, Leaving Earth. His latest track is titled Afterburner and will be available for listen on Spotify today. The new single comes at the same time as Artz also announces his first official signing with Colorado's popular, Potent Productions, adding to their ever-growing roster of creative talent. “I’ve been feeling the buzz from the new album. It felt good to release so much music that it just kept flowing. Recent events in my life, moving out of boulder where I have been for the last 10 years, relationships falling apart, big life changes, I just needed to be an artist and create and harness my energy the best way I know how and that’s exactly what I did.” Said Kris when asked about the short time between releases.Read More

Sonic Bloom 2019 is in the books and intimate does not even come close to describing the energy of this big-time festival. The eclectic creativity that resonated throughout the festival continues to linger with me even over a week after the event! Nestled in a valley at the base of a breathtaking mountain range, the campgrounds on Hummingbird Ranch were ideal for a weekend getaway. Festival-goers filtered in throughout the day on Thursday, posting their tents and slathering on sunscreen, preparing for the excitement to come.Read More
