The beat tape work that we do is always about preserving the art of sample-based hip-hop. Major influences for this style come from some of the hip-hop greats, like J Dilla, 9th wonder and Madlib. Denver's Future Joy Drops Single That Just Couldn't Wait For The Rest Of The Album

The Mile High City's saxiest electronic act, Future Joy, released a brand new single today that will resonate with every musician out there! "Work From Home" was Produced with Teddy Bogart in his basement studio, hence the track title. Future Joy consists solely of Zachary Simms who was born and raised in his hometown of Denver, CO. While playing live performances, Simms enlists prominent musicians to accompany him on stage and collaborate on his productions. The single comes in advance of a promised full album but in the words of Simms, "this song needed to come out sooner so I respected its wishes."
